Noah Potvin, PhD, LPC, MT-BC is an assistant professor and the director of the Master of Music Therapy program at Duquesne University. Noah has worked in end-of-life care for over a decade and specializes in resource-oriented and spiritually focused practices supporting patients and caregivers through the dying process into bereavement. His research interests include religious and spiritual practices in end-of-life care; pedagogical approaches for cultivating cultural reflexivity; and positioning music therapy as a core service in hospice. He currently maintains a small private practice, and serves as the associate editor-communications for the peer-reviewed journal Music Therapy Perspectives and on the editorial board of journals.

Brittany Tachkov, MA, MT-BC started the music therapy program at Hospice East Bay in 2017 and has been supervising interns since 2019. Brittany has 7 years of clinical experience and has focused on supervision from both a supervisee and supervisor perspective since her internship in 2014. Brittany presented on Music Therapy Supervision: A Dual Perspective at the WRAMTA conference in 2015. While Brittany’s supervision has included musical and clinical skills, Brittany has a passion for promoting overall professional skills, including awareness of business elements within the work, self-advocacy, and confidence in one’s own abilities while collaborating with other professionals.
